In definition smoke is 'a visible suspension of carbon or other particles in air, typically one emitted from a burning substance.
'To familiarize myself with the element of smoke I looked up a few videos on how to set up a smoke machine and how to use it.
I also had a look at one of my favorite You Tube Cannel 'Film Riot' s video on fog/Smoke in film.
How will we get the smoke machine?
- we could buy a smoke machine, however they have quite a large price range starting from 25 pounds going upwards.

- We could hire a smoke machine, this is a website I found this service. Another hiring/borrowing option is the Theatre department in School.
- Another option, however very unlikely for us to work with is creating our own smoke machine. This method is however inconvenient and might be dangerous.
