As we returned from half term we where extremely happy and lucky to discover that we received the green light to use Peeslake’s garage.
The pros of Filming in a garage:
- allows us to control the lighting in a better form, since we don't rely on natural lighting. this should then also reduce one issue of continuity.
- we don' rely on the weather.
- it can create a claustrophobic look which would enhance the urgency and therefor tension in our thriller
The garage is easily accessible. On the shoot day we will go on a mini bus, driven by our teacher, with all our equipment and drive to the location.
This is also an ideal compromise and development form one of or initial ideas to film in an empty car park building. This location idea was dismissed since it didn't make any go well with the stories plot in terms of logistic decisions.
The look we are now hoping to achieve is something similar to this:
